Villa Gorilla is a chilled space that is beautiful yet doesn't take itself too seriously. It is a fun, quirky two-bedroom cottage that easily sleeps four adults. It has a cosy living/dining room with a kitchenette which can also be booked on a weekly or monthly self-catered basis. Olepangi House is a fabulous five bedroom house (sold on a three bedroom or five bedroom basis) with panoramic views north to the Lolldaigas and south to Mt Kenya. Tastefully decorated with antiques from the owner's far-reaching travels, this is the perfect place to reconnect with friends and family. When enjoyed as a three-bedroom house, the east-wing master bedroom is exquisite and features a seven-foot wide (king size) British Raj bed made in India dating from about 1840 with stunning antique textiles. The bed would have been used by a senior officer of the British military. It features stunningly carved bare-breasted angels in the headboard. Its private-lounge area leads out to both a north and south-facing balcony with arguably the best views on the property.

Go for a farm visit. Their working farm is a sight to behold and they are fully self-sufficient and organic.
Sign your kids up to The Young Farmers Club. They will participate in daily activities such as milking the cows, riding the horses, playing with the dogs and collecting eggs from the hen run.
Enjoy a massage or yoga class in the perfectly positioned tent by the river. Visit the local community on a bush walk Mr Kariuki who has extensive knowledge about the local villages and people.
Explore the slopes of Mt Kenya on horseback and get close to the flora and fauna.
